Role Overview
The Subsea Technician plays a critical role in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of subsea equipment and infrastructure. This hands-on technical position requires strong knowledge of subsea systems and the ability to work offshore under challenging conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of subsea equipment.
- Assist in subsea installation and recovery operations.
- Conduct inspections and condition monitoring of subsea assets.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with engineers and offshore teams on technical tasks.
- Support emergency repairs and response activities.
- Follow company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training and continuous development.
- Promote a safety-first culture in all subsea operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical diploma or certification in subsea or marine technology.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in subsea technical roles.
- Knowledge of subsea equipment and inspection techniques.
- Offshore survival and safety training certifications.
- Ability to work in physically demanding offshore conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
