Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer to provide technical support on construction sites, ensuring engineering designs are implemented accurately and efficiently. This role is critical in monitoring progress, quality, and safety standards on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement engineering designs and drawings on-site.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to coordinate site activities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Prepare progress reports, site diaries, and documentation.
- Identify potential risks or issues and recommend solutions promptly.
- Assist in material testing and verification processes.
- Support health and safety compliance on the construction site.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar site engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with construction management software is an advantage.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
