Role Overview
The Shipping Coordinator at Matsbond will manage and coordinate shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment. This role will liaise with internal teams and external carriers, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate shipments in line with project timelines.
- Communicate with carriers, customs agents, and suppliers to ensure smooth shipping operations.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Track shipments and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Resolve shipping issues and delays promptly.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and reports.
- Implement best practices to improve shipping processes.
- Support audit and inspection activities related to shipping.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in logistics and shipping software.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
