Role Overview
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily oil and gas production operations, ensuring optimal output while maintaining strict safety, environmental, and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership to coordinate teams, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement best practices to maximize efficiency. The Production Supervisor will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and HSE teams to ensure that Matsbond’s production facilities operate smoothly, safely, and in compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to meet targets.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor production staff for skill development.
- Oversee reporting of production metrics to management.
- Coordinate with engineering and HSE teams on operational strategies.
- Implement and monitor cost-control measures.
- Respond to and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Promote a safety-first culture across all production activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil & gas production operations.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of production equipment and processes.
- Proficiency in production management systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong safety awareness and compliance knowledge.
- Ability to work in challenging field conditions.
