Role Overview
The Procurement Assistant will support the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and tracking goods and services for Matsbond projects. This role involves assisting with purchase orders, maintaining records, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing purchase orders and requisitions.
- Maintain procurement files and supplier databases.
- Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status and issues.
- Assist in obtaining quotes and comparing supplier offers.
- Support inventory monitoring and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet procurement needs.
- Ensure procurement activities follow company procedures.
- Help prepare procurement reports.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a procurement or administrative role.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic procurement systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes.
