Role Overview
The Oilfield Supervisor will oversee drilling, production, and maintenance activities at field sites to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role involves coordinating teams, managing schedules, and ensuring operational targets are met while upholding high safety and environmental standards. The supervisor acts as the key link between field crews and management, ensuring clear communication and effective resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily oilfield operations and personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Coordinate drilling, production, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor operational performance and address issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities.
- Train and mentor field staff.
- Manage equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
- Oversee contractor performance and compliance.
- Prepare operational reports for management.
- Promote a culture of safety and teamwork.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ oilfield supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of drilling and production operations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in challenging field conditions.
