Role Overview
The Offshore Technician performs technical support and maintenance duties for offshore marine operations, including equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and assisting operational teams to ensure reliable and safe offshore activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on offshore equipment.
- Assist with installation and operational support offshore.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions.
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures.
- Support daily offshore operations and team coordination.
- Maintain accurate logs and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams.
- Participate in safety and technical training programs.
- Assist in inventory and spare parts management.
- Promote a culture of safety and teamwork offshore.
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical diploma or equivalent in relevant field.
- Experience in offshore technical or maintenance roles preferred.
- Good understanding of marine/offshore equipment and systems.
- Ability to work in physically demanding offshore environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Offshore survival and safety certifications an advantage.
