Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Marine Manager to lead and oversee all offshore marine operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of marine activities. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to deliver projects on time while upholding Matsbond’s high standards of safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead offshore marine operations and manage all associated personnel and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to align marine activities with project goals.
- Develop and implement operational plans and risk assessments.
- Oversee vessel mobilization, demobilization, and maintenance.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Manage budgets and control operational costs.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on marine operations.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in offshore marine management or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of marine operations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in complex offshore environments.
- Proficiency in marine operation software and reporting tools.
