Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment across industrial and infrastructure projects. This role requires hands-on technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and reliability are top priorities. You will collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure operational readiness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as scheduled.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and failures.
- Assist in equipment upgrades and modifications.
- Ensure work is completed to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.
- Adhere to safety procedures and workplace policies.
- Support commissioning activities for new installations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a mechanical technician in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in using mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and maintenance practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
