Role Overview
The Logistics Officer at Matsbond will manage daily logistics activities ensuring timely and efficient flow of materials and equipment. This role liaises between project teams, suppliers, and transport services to optimize logistics performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement and delivery of materials across projects.
- Maintain logistics schedules and track shipments to meet deadlines.
- Communicate with suppliers, transporters, and project teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Maintain logistics documentation and records accurately.
- Identify and address logistics issues proactively.
- Support implementation of logistics best practices and process improvements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in logistics activities.
- Prepare reports on logistics operations for management review.
- Assist with training and development of logistics personnel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics software.
- Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environments.
