Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable Electrical Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and safety requirements. The role involves working with electrical equipment across a range of engineering projects, conducting fault-finding, and assisting in system upgrades. You will work closely with engineers and supervisors to ensure all work is delivered efficiently, safely, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement repairs.
- Assist with system upgrades and retrofitting.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Test electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records.
- Comply with safety protocols and electrical regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support commissioning of new electrical installations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an electrical technician.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and maintenance procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
