Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and strategic Accounting Manager to lead our finance operations and ensure the integrity of our financial systems and reporting processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting decision-making, and driving continuous improvement in financial operations across all sectors of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and banking.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS or GAAP.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives in collaboration with other departments.
- Ensure tax compliance, statutory filings, and liaison with external auditors and regulators.
- Maintain internal controls and improve accounting procedures for better efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions and performance monitoring.
- Provide financial insights and risk assessments to senior management.
- Coordinate with procurement and project management teams on cost control and reporting.
- Train, supervise, and mentor accounting team members.
- Support ERP system improvements and automation of financial workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ICAN) is required.
- 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Experience in project-based or multi-sector environments is an advantage.
